Whether your book has a cloth or leather cover, the same restoration technique is used. Your book will receive a “re-back” where matching material is placed under the original material. This creates a new outer joint and spine area that allows the covers to be reattached. If the book still has the original spine it will be “on-layed” onto the new spine. If the book has lost its spine, the new spine will be titled in an appropriate manner. When possible all original material is saved.
